Sugar Scrub Recipes

Sugar Scrubs

They are seriously SO AMAZING for your skin. They can be used for exfoliating purposes to keep your skin more hydrated and fresh which leads to glowing, healthy looking skin. There are a wide variety of ways you can use and make them. Depending upon your skin sensitivity you can use brown or white sugar. Brown sugar tends to be softer so is a good choice for those with sensitive skin or use on the face. If you have oily skin you may want to try almond oil in your mixture. Those of you with dry skin may want to try olive oil and those with normal skin can use coconut oil.

I like to use a sugar scrub for both my body and face. I tend to use a scrub on my body maybe 2x a week and my face 3x a week as an exfoliant. In my face scrub I include essential oils like Frankincense, Lavender, and Lemon for a glowing/decreased wrinkle complexion.

The combinations of sugars and oils are endless and no one particular mixture is perfect. It’s all about what type of skin you have and what type of scent you are going for.

Here are a few of my favorite recipes I wanted to share with all of you. Don’t be intimated by it, it’s seriously super easy to make (if you have all the ingredients)!

If you need any essential oils let me know and I can order them for you today 😉
